This is the most beautiful and inspiring story I have ever read. Such a brave and selfless lady who moves heaven and earth to save this poor dog,just one of the many victims of China's dog meat ‘festivals.’ As a dog and animal lover it has prompted me to sponsor a dog myself. This is a wonderful book - it made me laugh and cry! Amanda is so honest and she writes so sensitively that I would love to meet her family. Miracle now has a great life but what a horrendous past he had! Thank you for writing this, Amanda - well done for all you do for these suffering ones!

Such an emotional and beautiful story, the honesty with Amanda's words bring you into the story. You feel like you are with her when she is travelling and like you know the family. It's emotional knowing the ups and downs but it's a must read for me!
